Social enterprise forum becomes partnership

Defra is working with five organisations to develop a better understanding of how social enterprises contribute to Defra’s Strategic Objectives, increase understanding of the potential growth markets for social enterprise and identify any particular barriers or opportunities for social enterprise to thrive in Defra-related markets.  The five organisations that together make up the Defra Social Enterprise Strategic Partnership (SESP) are:

These five organisations acted as strategic partners to Defra during the development of our Third Sector Strategy.  A commitment within the strategy was to formalise our relationship with these delivery partners and form Defra’s Social Enterprise Strategic Partnership.
